a barrel of words

What's the goal of this post?

When I write poems, the goal of the poem is to express my feelings or a feeling I'm thinking about, or an opinion or similar, but it focus on leading the reader to think about X, visualize X, feel X.

With blog posts it's different, while writing a question usually popped in my head: where am I going with this? What's the conclusion of this post? Does it need one? And the answer wasn't clear. I thought I was just writing for the sake of it, but after reflecting more, I realized I actually want to improve my writing, be able to write stories, to say what I think in a way that I'm proud of.

They way I see writing is the same as I see drawing, it's something fun, that I'm learning and not taking it that serious, it's something that I like to do, so I will treat it the same way. I will continue doing so, and improve by practice and study, for myself.

So what's the goal of this post? It's just a reflection on my writing, and it made me realize things I did not think at first, while setting a general "goal" and at the same time understanding that the posts themselves don't need one, I can just write.
